Beauty
Inspired by a photo I came across in an exhibition where it portrayed the final of a beauty contest. Initially I called this picture the parameters of beauty because even if few people knew it, in the past to access the beauty contest the judges measured the parts of your body that had to fall within certain parameters. Now I don't know if that's still the case.
This is a series of oil paintings, mostly in black and white. They arise from sketches made around the city, museums and from photographic image research. Made with technique ¨Blind Contour Drawing¨, Umanoidi is a sincere mirror of how I see the metropolitan world wrapped in a darkness that is illuminated only by the human figure.
