ILLUSTRATION
Where Story Meets Image
For me, illustration is more than just a picture—it’s a visual narrative that brings a story to life. Whether it's conveying a concept, exploring a theme, or depicting a process, each illustration is an invitation to dive deeper into the world I create. In this section, you’ll discover a diverse range of work: from graphic illustrations and comic styles to traditional drawings and paintings, all experimenting with different techniques and approaches. You can also find original drawings from my graphic novels, such as Kiwiland and L'Armata Vincibile, as well as illustrations that have appeared in various newspaper and magazine publications. These pieces offer a glimpse into the broader spectrum of my artistic journey.
A particularly special collection features drawings on pages of ancient books, some dating back to the 1700s, that have been carefully deconstructed and are now waiting to be reborn in a new context. These unique pieces, crafted on rare and fragile paper, carry with them the echoes of history.
Rycicle Paper has always been a constant presence in my studio, a material rich in texture, potential, and endless possibilities.
I invite you to explore and enjoy the collection!
